Dream Trades Ahead of the 2022 NFL Trade Deadline

Trades we want to see!

Trade deadline is Tuesday, 11/1 at 4pm ET. Here are some trades we want to see happen…

  1. Kareem Hunt, RB -> Rams (Trade Proposal: 2023 4th)

There isn’t a better dream scenario for fantasy football fans out there than Kareem Hunt going to the Rams and being a bell cow RB1 like he was when he was with the Chiefs in his rookie season.

The Rams have been looking for a spark on the offensive side of the ball all season. For the Rams, the only playmaker they have is reigning OPTY Cooper Kupp.

With players like Cam Akers leaving the team & free agent signing Allen Robinson not working out, the Rams need some juice. The Rams have averaged the second lowest rushing yards per game with only 70.5 yards.

In his two seasons with the Chiefs, Hunt averaged 110.3 scrimmage yards per game. With his ability to run between the tackles and ability to catch passes out of the backfield, this should be a no-brainer for Sean McVay & the Rams.

  1. Jerry Jeudy, WR -> Giants (Trade Proposal: 2023 2nd & 2024 4th)

A match made in heaven for the New York Football Giants! To be able to acquire a potential #1 WR at the deadline does not come around too often. If the Giants were able to make this deal happen, they should POUNCE on it.

Jerry Jeudy in Denver has been disgruntled with the role he has in the Broncos somewhat broken offense that has led them to a 2-5 start under Nathaniel Hackett.

In his two-&-half-year career at “Mile High” the 2020 15th overall pick has just 114 catches on 216 targets for 1709 yards and 5 TD.

A change of scenery seems like the best option for both Jeudy & the Broncos. Going forward a one two punch of Jerry Jeudy (23 Y/O) & Wan’Dale Robinson (21 Y/O) at WR and Saquon Barkley at RB could set the Giants up for future success going forward.

  1. Bradley Chubb, EDGE -> Kansas City Chiefs (Trade Proposal: 2023 2nd & 2024 3rd)

When he declared for the draft in 2018 out of North Carolina St, Bradley Chubb was a highly thoughted EDGE rusher, gaining comparisons to his teammate in Denver Von Miller.

Unfortunately for Chubb, his first four seasons in the NFL have been difficult as he’s been plagued with injuries (ACL in 19’, Ankle in 21’). But in his two healthy seasons prior to 2022, Chubb has averaged nearly 10 sacks a year.

Chubb is now entering the prime of his career at 26 years old, the star EDGE rusher has 5.5 sacks in seven games this season.

Put him on a defensive line with the likes of Chris Jones & Frank Clark and the Chiefs pass rush could be a force going up against Josh Allen & Joe Burrow throughout the playoffs

  1. DJ Moore, WR -> Green Bay Packers (Trade Proposal: 2023 1st & 2024 5th)

The Panthers front office have already stated that D.J Moore is going to be a part of their future going forward and won’t be traded. BUT if you get offered a 1st round pick by any team, YOU TAKE IT!

Green Bay offensively have been a shadow of themselves this season. The two-time reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers with Allan Lazard, Romeo Doubs & Randell Cobb haven’t been able to do much threw the air this season.

The Packers through seven games are bottom half in passing yards (221.3) and bottom third in scoring offense (18.3). Someone needs to be brought in and why not the best “available” WR in the NFL at this time of year.

While Aaron Rodgers has been QB in Green Bay the Packers have NEVER spent a 1st round pick on a WR. If the Packers want to make some noise and get into the playoffs, that should change November 1st.

  1. Johnathan Abram, S -> Miami Dolphins (Trade Proposal: 2023 3rd)

With the injury to safety Brandon Jones this past week there is a void that needs to be filled in the Dolphins defense.

That’s where Raiders former 1st round pick in 2019 Johnathan Abram comes in. Abram missed pretty much all his rookie season with injury, but the past two seasons has played 27 of 33 games, making 202 tackles & 3 INT.

With the Raiders declining Abram’s fifth year option for next season, it seems to be that the Raiders wouldn’t mind parting ways with the fourth-year safety for a day two pick in return.
