Whipsnakes vs Chaos – June 4th 2:15 PM ESPN+
- The season starts with a rematch of the championship last year between Chaos and Whipsnakes
- Matt Rambo and Josh Byrne will look to get their team’s offenses clicking early and make a statement in the first game of the year
Redwoods vs Atlas – June 4th 5:00 PM ESPN
- Chris Gray will make his professional debut on day 1 against the Redwoods in the second game of the opening day
- Chris Gray and Jeff Teat playing together will be a treat for anyone who has watched them dominate college lacrosse the last couple of years
Waterdogs vs Cannons – June 5th 1:00 PM ESPN+
- To kick off the second day we have a matchup between the two newest teams in the PLL
- The Cannons have a healthy Lyle Thompson this year and a great group of young guys who will look to contribute early
Chrome vs Archers – June 5th 3:45 PM ESPN+
- The Chrome shocked the Archers last year winning a week 4 matchup that gave the Archers their first loss of the year
- They will look for revenge to kick off this year with last year’s loss as fuel
Best Bets of the weekend
Mortal Lock: Whipsnakes vs. Chaos over 22.5 goals:
- This rematch of last year’s championship game should be a high scoring affair featuring two offenses who can put up 15 goals each easily
- With so many question marks for every team, I’m riding with the over and enjoying a shootout in the first game of the season
Dog of the weekend: Cannons +115
- The Cannons and Waterdogs are two very even teams that matchup well against each other. The X factor however will be if the dogs can cover Lyle Thompson, which many have tried, but few have succeeded with
- If the Cannons can have the ball in his stick for most of their possessions, he could be on his way to a huge day
